Quarterly Potluck Popups

Potluck Popups: Nourishing Our Community One Plate at a Time

Our Potluck Popups are quarterly community gatherings designed to bring neighbors together through shared meals, essential donations, and uplifting connections. Hosted in different neighborhoods across Western Massachusetts, these events are open to all and provide free food, donated items, and access to local services—especially for families and individuals in need.

Each event is grounded in compassion, community, and care. Local volunteers, businesses, and families contribute by donating food, school supplies, hygiene items, or simply their time and presence. These popups are not just about giving—they’re about building relationships and supporting one another.

Young Parent Assistance Program

The Young Parent Assistance Program is an initiative designed to provide compassionate and responsive support to expectant and postpartum parents aged 13 to 24. Our goal is to ensure that young mothers, fathers, and guardians have access to basic necessities, opportunities for personal development, and tools for long-term success.

The program offers essential care packs that include items such as:

  • Small packs of diapers and baby wipes

  • Basic toiletries and feminine hygiene products

  • Baby clothing (as available)

  • Bus passes and transportation assistance (as available)

Beyond immediate needs, the program focuses on building life and employment skills. Participants are invited to engage in two development tracks:

  1. Employment Readiness Program
This track includes job search support, resume and cover letter building, interview preparation, professionalism workshops, and assistance navigating career or training pathways. It is designed to help young parents become confident, work-ready, and self-sufficient.

  2. Personal Development Program
This track supports emotional wellness, confidence building, time management, goal setting, parenting education, and community engagement. Through peer support, coaching, and resource referrals, young parents are empowered to develop into their best selves—at home and in their communities.

The Young Parent Assistance Program is more than a service—it’s a bridge to stability, growth, and self-empowerment for young families. By meeting participants where they are, we strive to reduce barriers, promote dignity, and uplift the next generation of parents and leaders.
